U-N-nese: Developing An International Language From Knowledge And Techniques That We Already Use

Hello,

I think I have a pretty good subject for you to peruse. So, let's get to perusing. Ha!

It is named <a href="http://www.umwhatllc.com">U-N-nese</a>, from its name sake U.N. or United Nations: An innovating idea, that use an existing technique in a new way, for an international language. This is The Rosetta Stone for the modern age.

Just for comparison: an excerpt from http://www.ancientegypt.co.uk/writing/rosetta.html

Why is it in three different scripts?

The Rosetta Stone is written in three scripts because when it was written, there were three scripts being used in Egypt.

The first was hieroglyphic which was the script used for important or religious documents.

The second was demotic which was the common script of Egypt.

The third was Greek which was the language of the rulers of Egypt at that time.

The Rosetta Stone was written in all three scripts so that the priests, government officials and rulers of Egypt could read what it said. End of excerpt.

U-N-nese is simply, the using of sign language (combination of American sign language (ASL) and/or The International Sign language) to communicate with others with different languages.

The short and sweet of it. U-N-nese in comparison to the original Rosetta Stone, the first language is yours, the second language is the universal signing, the third is that of the foreign person.

Imagine, if everyone adopted an international sign language as their second language. Regardless of what language we spoke, we could communicate with one another. This would allow everyone to freely communicate with everyone else, breaking the language Barrier. And, when it comes to written content. We can use written stick figure hands, that will sign out what is written. They will be used very much like Asian characters are. They will sit just under the correlating words and sentences in signs, newspapers, and any-other written works.

I believe that this is a very good compromise. Because, there are over a hundred languages and probably up to a dozens or so variation of each one of them. So, it is not very practical to try to learn every language in the world, but learning U-N-nese is very feasible in comparison.

Also imagine this, if you communicated with someone using U-N-nese, that spoke another language, you both with be teaching your own language and learning theirs, as you communicated with one another. Besides, I have read that even prime-apes successfully use it.

It's just that simple. And, Remember communication is the key to true cooperation, peace, understanding, and maybe... even love.

And, FYI. American Sign Language has very little to do with the English language and letter word spelling, for the like of a better description. And, from how I understand it, it kinda, is the hand drawing of pictures, in mid-air and the using of gestures of the hand, face, and body that can not only describe words but whole description of the subject matter at hand, ha. There it is in a nutshell.

Thanks for paying attention.

The Best Education Guidance For Your Young child

You can provide your children with a great education from the comfort of your own home. It takes some necessary adjustments and extensive planning, but it can also be very rewarding in many different ways. Consider the rest of this article, and think about the opportunity that may just be for the taking.

You don't have to be perfect! Even teachers make mistakes, and it's all a part of the learning process for yourself and your children. Take your time, relax and know that you can teach your kids a lot when you do flub. The more mistakes you make, the better a teacher you will become.

Even homeschooling teachers and students want to feel included. For that reason, you should both consider joining a homeschooling support group. Your student(s) will get to talk to other kids who understand the lifestyle and challenges of homeschooling. Likewise, you can get input, advice and general support from other parents that have already struggled with and succeeded at homeschooling.

As the parent of a home schooled child, you may feel lost when you do not understand a certain concept or subject as well as you'd like. It's difficult to teach when you need to be taught yourself! Because your child's education is at stake, don't feel bad if you need to bring in another resource or person to help teach the challenging topic. The last thing you want to do is teach your child the wrong thing!

Offer your children incentives from completing their lessons. This can be extra free time, less homework or even additional television time. By using incentives, you can help your child learn the importance of completing their tasks and how it will relate to working in the real world when they grow up.

When you go on vacation, take your lesson plan with you. Include your vacation in your home classroom so that your kids can truly enjoy their schooling. Have them keep a scrapbook of the event, or take a video which they turn into an amazing family adventure later. Take them to cultural locations and teach them about the area, then have them reenact wars or important historical situations. There is so much to learn around the world, don't let it pass them by!

Do not get stuck on one homeschooling curriculum. You may find that your child is not doing well with the curriculum that you have chosen. There are several on the market for you to choose from. Your child might even do well to combine more than one program. Using different programs in one home is perfectly acceptable, so find the one that works best with your child and get started.

Keep at it even if you feel like throwing in the towel. It takes time to develop a plan that works for both, you and your child. Many new homeschoolers give up too soon because they feel overwhelmed in the beginning, but after a year most homeschooling parents have settled in and enjoy homeschooling their children.

It is important to incorporate recess into your homeschooling routine. Recess at public schools are becoming shorter and shorter, but it is an important time for your child. It is a time for them to expel their extra energy, which enables them to concentrate better while they are learning. Try to incorporate a few of these breaks in your child's day.

If the only reason that you do not want to home school your children is because you are scared they will not get the socialization they need, know that you can work around this. You may be able to find groups in your area that allow children who are home schooled to get together and play. If your area does not have this, you can always bring them to the park or have them join a sport to meet and play with other kids.

When your child's education is not meeting your expectations, homeschooling can be the alternative you need. This article has offered some great advice that can help you to be successful in your homeschooling efforts. Show your child how much fun learning can be, and allow them to get the best education possible.

How To Evaluate Rare Coins

Rarity and Condition

People have been collecting coins from the time that the first coins were minted in early Greek and Roman times of around 600 BC, both for their face value and also for the added value, which can be due to special characteristics or limited availability.

But how can you determine the value of the rare coins in your collection?

There are many factors that can determine if a coin is valuable, such as limited numbers, obscure variations, metal content, for example gold or silver, and condition. Let's look at these factors in more detail to see what you need to be aware of when evaluating a coin.

A coin expert will follow several basic procedures when evaluating a rare coin. Firstly, the coin should be handled as little as possible to avoid any damage; wearing soft gloves will help you here. Place the coin on a soft, non-abrasive surface such as a jeweller's cloth and if possible arrange a light source above the coin. A magnifying glass, or better still a lamp fitted with a magnifying lens, will help you examine the details more closely.

Take a look at the faces of the coin first. The better the condition of the coin, the more valuable it will be. Make a note of any scratches, deformities or other damage on both sides. Check for the date, the country of origin, and the coin's denomination (face value). This will enable you to look up the coin in a catalogue or on the internet to get a basic idea of its rarity and possible value.

Grades for rare coins are defined as fair when the coin is so well worn that identification marks are hard to read. A coin in good condition is still well worn, but lettering and other marks can be seen. If your coin has definition in the identification marks and is lightly worn, it will be classified as a fine coin. To obtain a very fine grade, your coin will still have some light wear. If this light wear is restricted to just the high points of the coin, it can be classified as very fine, while the top of the range grade, mint condition, allows for no wear visible to the naked eye at all.

Evaluating rare coins is not an exact science, but by following these steps you will begin to get an idea of the possible value of your rare coin. Market demand will determine how much your coin is actually worth, so to get a more accurate answer; it's a good idea to seek the help of a reputable coin dealer.

Good luck with your treasure trove!

How to Choose the Right Sixth Form for You

Copyright (c) 2014 Stratique Marketing, Design and PR

If you are entirely honest, your decision about sixth form is the first really big decision most of us have to make. Sure, you had to choose your GCSEs, but most of those were compulsory and in hindsight, you didn't like German anyway, so choosing French instead was easy. But sixth form is the first time where the pressure is on to make a decision that will affect the course your life will now take.

The first thing you need to decide is whether you want to continue with your studies now you are 16. It may no longer be compulsory to stay in full time education; you can of course start working. The problem with deciding to start work is that currently, the prospects for someone with few qualifications are limited. Although it is not impossible, it is especially hard at the current economic time to get into work. According to www.parliment.uk in the second quarter of 2013, 1.1 million 16-24 year olds in the UK were not in education, employment or training (NEET), 15% of people in this age group.

If you do decide to continue with your studies and enter sixth form, where are you going to go? You may be able to stay at the school where you have studied for 5 years already. This can be an easy option as you are familiar and comfortable with the surroundings but is this necessarily the best option for you? What are your plans after sixth form? Do you want to go to university? Does the school offer the subjects you want (or in some cases need) to take? What are their A level results like? Would it be better for you personally to look at other schools or even sixth form colleges in the area?

League tables continue to demonstrate the virtues of single sex schools when it comes to exam performance. The class sizes within girls or boys schools are often much smaller than those in colleges or co-educational schools. If getting the top grades is important to you, it is definitely worth having a look at the single sex schools in your local vicinity and considering these schools in your decision making process.

It is wise to go to as many open days as you can and get a feel for each of the schools and colleges you are considering. Moving schools is a scary and daunting process but you will soon meet new people and make new friends in this new stage of your journey.
