Classroom teachers are generalists. They are men and women who must give youngsters an education in many different disciplines such as reading and writing, science, math, history and so on. Parents are the people who feed, cloth, and cherish their youngsters. Teachers and parents play crucial roles in the upbringing of these young people who are not mature enough to manage themselves.
Less imperative, but nevertheless very effective, is the role of the expert or professional who offers after school programs or day camp activities to children. These special instructors are often professionals in their specialty, and accordingly, they have a high degree of talents to offer youngsters who wish to learn them. In addition to a high degree of talents, these after school program specialists may also have the very skills that children regard as valuable and favorable.
Youngsters are impressionable, and accordingly, they learn more when they are impressed. However, when they are not impressed, youngsters lose interest and don't learn as much. Children are always looking for adults or even older children to look up to. It's almost, or perhaps, like a dream world where they conceive of themselves in the position of someone who is able to do something remarkably well or perform in a manner which they would like to emulate as well.
Kids love their heroes and heroes are anyone who impresses youngsters in some way or another. Heroes could be in the form of imagination heroes such as superman, or real life heroes such as athletes, entertainers or even someone who they know has the ability to do something with a high level of proficiency that they themselves cannot, but would love to be able to do. Heroes could be a child's mother or father, sister or brother, teacher or caretaker, but many heroes are found offering after school programs and summer day camp activities. Highly skilled men and women who teach their craft to youngsters are deemed heroes to those children. Kids consider those talents as crucial and talents they fantasize about performing themselves.
