If you have always had trouble with math it is okay to hire a math tutor to teach your kids the skills they need to know. In fact, it is better for them in the long run. If you are frustrated because you don't understand a particular subject, you shouldn't want them to pick up on this. To help your children get the right knowledge, and to help them succeed with this particular subject, a tutor is absolutely necessary. Basically, this lets you off the hook in regard to having to teach your kids about a topic you are not very good at.
