A college major provides a focus for you to develop an expertise in specific types of courses. Pre-business administration courses include core academic subjects, such as accounting, economics, business fundamentals and algebra; these courses prepare students for advanced-level business courses. When you begin your studies in business school, you will be required to complete at least one fundamental course in each of the primary majors. For instance, all business administration students are required to take fundamental courses in finance, accounting, e-commerce, marketing and information systems. In regards to the courses in your selected concentration of study, you will be required to take several courses that help you develop advanced-level knowledge in the subject.

Your business major is one that allows you to utilize your natural talents and gives you the motivation to succeed in your career.
