Berlin has become a very popular destination to study abroad. Here are the things that you should know about studying german language at the Berlin Language Institute right in the heart of Germany.

THE PROGRAM: German Language - 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day (M-F) in small classes. All levels offered: beginner, intermediate, advanced. Modern facility, cafeteria and housing on campus. The facility is located at the central of Berlin. Start on any Monday (all levels) except national holidays. Open to all students and adults.

COURSE: The course is offered in small classes of less than 10 students. Attend weekly, monthly or by quarter term. All levels available: beginner, intermediate, advanced. Students take placement test upon arrival, and placed in proper level course. Focus is on speaking, grammar, reading, and writing. Courses start in any Monday for all levels. Transcript (certificate) will be issued by the school.

ACCOMMODATION: Students live in school apartments on campus, apartment housing at Brandenburg Gate, shared flats, or stay in German Host Family housing. Cost will be added to your balance. You can arrange your own housing if you prefer. Most students stay in the campus apartments and take meals at the cafeteria which is located in same building.

- Apartments - Single (Standard + breakfast) = 396 euros (around $550 USD) and 216 euros for double (around $295 USD) per week.

- Shared Flats - self catering = 204 euros (around $295 USD) per week and 648 euros (around $950 USD) for 4 weeks.

- Host Family - single room - half-board (2 meals daily) = 288 euros (around $395 USD) and 945 euros (around $1395 USD) for 4 weeks.

PASSPORT: A valid passport is required. Minimum age is 16 years old.

REGISTRATION: Confirmation Deposit of $45 USD required. You can pay quickly online by credit card. Personal checks, online bill pay checks, cashier checks, money orders, credit card checks, direct bank deposit, and wire transfers are also accepted.
