Every end of term brings the dreaded report, the academic, grade. Students who done the work required in a way that is geared to wards their learning techniques will get good grades, the lazy or indifferent students will get poor grades, and some who have worked hard but not necessarily smart will get grades below that which they have the ability to achieved.
Just because you are pregnant doe not mean you cannot schedule your study. It is likely that you will have different times and environments to other successful students where your learning is optimised, but you need to understand your bodies need and play to your own strengths.
People who, well lets be blunt, are going to struggle with study, grades become a problem, they have to achieve a certain standard, but the results re-enforce their negative self image so they become de-motivated, so they do less so they get worse grades, a terrible downward spiral ensues.
If You have regular weekly / fortnightly tests, form study groups with your colleagues. This will really help you to fix the required knowledge in your mind, by the use of word association.
If you still do not know how to improve your grades, you need to look into your future, be positive or negative which ever drives you, positive think how live will be because you got good grades, negative, think how awful life will be if you fail. Whichever approach, just get the focus you need to get the results you know you deserve.
At the end of the day, you call the shots on your future, if you want to have a great time, and over do the drugs, and drink parties, do not be surprised if your grades suffer, remember though the effort you put in now will affect the rest of your life, so for a couple of short terms get your head down and dig in and get the grades you know you deserve.
