The study schedule should have school, social, travel, sport and even downtime on it. The schedule should be at least a month in advance so you work around the unexpected events. The final thing about your study schedule it should always be with you, either on your phone or written down in a diary.

Easy ways to deal with your exam stress and allow you perform during your exams is to start eating the right foods and exercising. The right foods have been shown to reduce stress and some foods increase intelligence. If you like any of the following, oily fish, hot chilli peppers, pumpkin seeds, tomatoes broccoli, nuts, eggs, blueberries, flax seeds, honey. These foods are shown to help nourish the brain and that leads to a clearer more active mind. Once you have the correct nutrition, its time to do some exercise. Its does not have to be the gruelling 26 mile marathon in fact don't push yourself to exhaustion. You just need to be doing around 30 minutes of light exercise, each morning before school. Some ideal exercises would be walking, swimming, meditation.

Avoid the people that are not supporting you. Saying NO to friends and family is something everyone sooner or later has to do. If they really have got your best interests at heart, they will understand that as exams approach you will have less time for other activities. The occasional night off should be planned in advance so as not to interrupt your schedule

Tips For Effective Studying.

Lets look at the myth about Cramming. This is the art of stay up most of the night in preparation for the exams, under the mistaken belief that you will be well prepared for the exams in the morning. If you are cramming you have not stuck to your study schedule. You have also not got a good 8 hours sleep, which would have been better for your exams results than stay up late. What works is sticking to a well planned study schedule. The study schedule breaks down your sessions into 30 minutes. If the studying requires more time, you take a 5 minute break before adding another 30 minutes to the session.

A lot of students don't have any methods for note taking. This leads to poorer revision in the lead up the exams and will off course affect your exam performance. To improve your note taking skills you need to exam explore some different methods such as the the Cornell, Mind Mapping methods of note taking. Couple of points, if your teacher tells you to take notes you should this do this and also if they write something on the board you should make notes of it. During the lesson you also make a side note of any new terms and idea that you might want and any questions you want to ask your teacher at the end.

Get out of the habit of cramming. Reading your notes the night before your test just won't work. You should be reading your notes each day if you can , or a minimum of once per week. The repetition of reading notes will allow your brain time to learn and digest the material.
