Algebra Two Help

Yesterday was the first day of my life. Not physically but it was a day of great awakening for me that will forever change my view of the world and how everyone should be taught that life is to be lived. It was the day I understood how everything I have been taught since birth has been as backwards and wholly inadequate to make any person successful at anything. What I learned is that this deficiency isn't to be blamed on parents or teachers or any person specifically. Because all of them have learned it the wrong way. Our societies system education and bureaucracy has literally made it impossible for people to gain this knowledge and in fact some would say is intelligently designed to be so.

Because of the massive change in the what it's like at home for today's families things are much different' for children today. Mom and Dad both work and quite often aren't around like parents used to be. There isn't as much basic guidance to be had let alone help with homework or a guiding hand for even moral values. Children more often than not are left to their own devices for surviving into their teens and they are not always making good decisions about study habits and such. They to be taught these habits and if mom and dad can't do it there has to be some other mechanism.

We have to take a serious look at the school system and something has to be done to change it. Having our children doing almost nothing from birth and then started to throw information at them with no instruction about how to handle it or what to do with is just absolutely ridiculous. It's kind of like how we never teach our young people about money. How to handle it, how to manage it to live within their means, how to use credit as a tool rather than a gift. Expecting our kids to get a good education while under challenging them and simultaneously not telling them how to be successful just doesn't make any sense.

We have got to figure out a way to change the system fundamentally. Obviously one parent or a group of parents can't have enough impact to start changing a generation. One school or school district is not enough. As Americans we have to all come to the understanding that we are failing big time with allowing our young people to strive for the success they are capable of. Everything we do in our schools seems almost specifically designed to hold them back and slow them down. Things are archaic and were meant for another time. We have to figure out a way to fix the system and at the same time figure out to change a culture of people who don't take the education of their children serious enough.

We have to overcome our fear of change if we are ever going to help our children become what they are capable of. Throughout the history of man nothing has been more difficult for him to cope with than change. It has always been the thing he feared the most for the outcome is always uncertain. There have been magical individuals throughout history who were brave enough to push through the fear and it will take such a man to make this change happen. Our children aren't challenged to even a fraction of their aptitude. It's a travesty and I think the answer to the majority of our social and economic problems.
