We all know there is a lot of free advice out there about how to keep you man. But how much of it is written from the prospective of the man? Read on to get their tips.
Buy practical presents. Men don't usually like candles, soaps, decorative items, posters, and especially clothing. I know it's cliché, but buy him tools, man-toys, video games, or tickets/subscriptions to things you know he'll enjoy.
We all feel good when we make some effort with our appearance. Its great if you can make a little effort for your man too. Not only will you feel good in yourself, you will also get more positive response from your man.
Don't fake interest in something. Either be interested in his activities or leave him to them. Faking interest might thrill him in the short-run, but when your lack of genuine interest begins to show himself he will be deeply disappointed and potentially annoyed. Your guy will probably be happy if you're into golf as much as he is, but if you only come to have another three hours with him every week and lie to him about your level of interest, he might instead feel like he's being tricked into giving up some of his alone time, regardless of how pure your intentions are.
Watch your language and tailor it to your guy's ear. Don't say, "Do you want a Coke?" or "Do you want me to get you a Coke?" Both of these imply that he's putting a burden on you by replying in the affirmative, so he would feel inconsiderate to say yes. Instead, try "Would you like a Coke?" or "Can I get you a Coke?" The wording in these questions send off red flags in a man's mind, letting him know that the speaker is offering to go out of her way to do him a favor. Knowing you won't loathe his response, he should tell you honestly whether he does or does not, in fact, want a Coke.
Respect your man for being honest with you. If he doesn't want to take you to Salsa, thats because he doesn't want to do that activity. It doesn't mean he doens't like you any less. Like most men, he has probably not done any dancing as a boy and feels embarrassed at the fact that he may look stupid infront of other people. Don't act like an annoying kid about it either and go all moody on him. Just find someone else to go with who will actually enjoy it.
Always knock before you walk in a room your man is in if the door is closed.
Ask if your man like certain activities in the bedroom. This is a give and take relationship so its great to have some honest conversations about what turns you both on.
